A Visit to the Zoo
Yesterday, Michael visited the zoo with his cousins. They arrived at 10 a.m. and spent the whole day there. The first animals they saw were the lions. Michael thought they were very big and strong. His younger cousin, Emma, was a little scared because one lion roared loudly.
After that, they went to see the monkeys. The monkeys were jumping and playing in the trees. Emma laughed a lot because one monkey tried to grab a visitor’s hat. Michael took pictures of the monkeys and showed them to his parents later.
At noon, they sat on a bench and ate their lunch. They had sandwiches, fruit, and water. While they were eating, they saw some peacocks walking nearby. The peacocks were beautiful, with big, colorful feathers. Michael’s cousin said they were her favorite animals at the zoo.
Now, Michael is back home, writing about the trip in his journal. He says the zoo is one of his favorite places to visit because there is always something interesting to see.
