Let’s go to the beach!

Last weekend, Sarah and her family went to the beach. They left their house early in the morning and drove for two hours to get there. The weather was sunny, and everyone was excited. When they arrived, Sarah quickly ran to the water while her parents set up the umbrella and chairs.

During the day, they swam, played volleyball, and collected seashells. Sarah found a very big shell and showed it to her little brother. He thought it was amazing! For lunch, they ate sandwiches and drank cold lemonade. They also took a lot of pictures to remember the fun day.

In the evening, they watched the sunset. The sky was orange and pink, and it looked beautiful. Sarah’s mom said, «This is the best part of the day!» After the sun went down, they packed their things and went home.

Now, Sarah is back at school, telling her friends about her weekend. She says the beach was amazing, and she hopes to go again soon.
