Sarah’s birthday

Last weekend, Sarah (celebrate) her birthday with her friends. She (invite) all her classmates to her house. Her mom (decorate) the living room with colorful balloons and (prepare) a big cake. Sarah (help) her mom set the table and (arrange) the chairs.

When her friends (arrive), they (play) games in the backyard. Everyone (laugh) and (enjoy) the party. They (dance) to music, and Sarah’s dad took pictures of everyone.

After the games, Sarah’s mom brought out the cake. Everyone sang «Happy Birthday,» and Sarah blew out the candles. She (wish) for something special, but she didn’t tell anyone her secret wish.
